Quick update - I was asked by the Wooden Overcoats publicity manager to write an article on how I wrote the show, in seven easily-digestible points! These are things I learnt in the process of doing the show, both through writing by myself, working with the other writers on the team, and knocking everything into shape afterwards! If you want to read, have a gander over here.

The Awkward Ghost completed its week of performance a wee while ago and, happily enough, it seemed to go down well. Audiences really latched onto the plight of our sad little awkward ghost, and laughed in all the right places too. A few people even got quite sniffly at the end, when... Well, I can't spoil the story. We'd like to do it again, you see, though where and when we don't yet know. But we've received lots of feedback - and a clutch of nice reviews! - and I'd like to expand the script slightly for next time. I've also added a new selection of production images to The Awkward Ghost gallery. In the meantime, I'll most likely be busy for a few months on season 2 of Wooden Overcoats. We're still in early discussions about how it'll happen but we've got a warm feeling about it. Later in the year, I should also hopefully be enjoying the debut of my new full length play, Birthday Suit, courtesy of Pluck Productions.
But for February, the clever people who took Timothy to Taiwan are coming to London for two performances at the Lion & Unicorn Theatre. I heard great things about their production and I'm looking forward to seeing it a great deal. Perhaps I'll see you there? Tickets can be booked here! |
