Today it's the first episode, The Loneliness of the Short-Tempered Rudyard. Rudyard is delighted when Lady Templar books a funeral with him - but Eric won't let it happen without a fight! Key to this one is an exquisitely funny performance from Catriona Knox as Lady Templar, taking centre stage after guest appearances in Season 1's Tempting Fete and Season 2's Take a Letter, Miss Crusoe. She's a character I've always wanted to develop, and placing her in the middle of a very peculiar triangle with Rudyard and Eric was bags of fun to write - especially as Rudyard has no idea what's going on. We also welcome back Sarah Thom as the cackling florist Petunia Bloom, and the shrewd Sid Marlowe played by Paul Putner, both of them a joy to write back into the show for our curtain-raiser.
You can listen to the episode via iTunes or your preferred podcasting app, or online at AudioBoom. And tomorrow sees the first of the new Live Shows at King's Place, London, where we'll be performing both Loneliness and next week's episode, Altar Ego by James Hamilton and James Huntrods.
Book here for tickets to tomorrow's performance, and in the meantime do leave us a review on iTunes if you have time! Every one of them helps us to reach more listeners!
