A Match Made in Piffling (by me) finds Antigone going on a date with Dr Edgware - but trouble comes in the form of a jealous and angry parrot. I had enormous fun writing a weird romantic comedy, especially when a clueless Rudyard gets involved. This one sees the return of UK comedy legend Andy Hamilton as Herbert Cough, and new guest star Lucy Farrett as Esther.
Dead Man's Chest by Sarah Shachat is the wildest episode yet: Rudyard is organising a parade for the local council but Piffling Vale gets swept up in pirate fever! With wonderful guest performances from Sean Baker, Andy Secombe, Paul Putner, and Catriona Knox, this episode also features a suite of stunning music courtesy of the Sutton Music Service, who worked with our composer James Whittle to score the exciting finale.
You can find both episodes on your podcast app of choice, on Audioboom, or on Youtube.
Wooden Overcoats is on a break for a few weeks but returns on March 3rd with Gabriel Urbina's Radio Drama.
